family support
When a child learns differently, parents and families struggle with a myriad of diagnoses, clinical terms and educational options. The Miriam School helps families understand and work successfully with the difficulties that can be a part of parenting a child who experiences learning challenges.
The Miriam School assists families by offering:
- Identification of total family needs
- Parent education and workshops
- Networking opportunities with other families facing similar challenges
- Positive behavior counseling
- Advocacy support
- Referral services
- Transition services
- Before and after school care
- Needs-based tuition assistance
Additional diagnostic and program services are provided by the Miriam Learning Center.
